Aspirant Education Sansthan ("Aspirant Education", "AES", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. The people who trust us with their time, money and personal details are the foundation of our work, and we take that trust seriously.

2. Who We Are
Aspirant Education Sansthan is a not-for-profit organisation registered as a society (Registration No. 243/Ajmer/2014-2015), headquartered in Ajmer, Rajasthan. We decide why and how your personal data is collected and used through this Website, which makes us the "data fiduciary" under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

3.2 Information We Collect Automatically
Like most websites, we may automatically collect basic technical information when you visit, including:
- pages visited, time spent and links clicked,
- device type, browser type and operating system,
- approximate location (such as city or region, from your IP address),
- the website or source that referred you.

3.3 Information from Third Parties
When you donate, our Payment Partners (such as Razorpay, Donorbox and PayPal) send us your name, contact details, donation amount and transaction reference so that we can confirm your donation and issue a receipt.
3.4 What We Do Not Collect
- We never receive or store your card number, CVV, net-banking password, UPI PIN or other payment credentials. These are entered directly on the secure pages of the Payment Partner.
- We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, such as health, religion, caste or political views, through this Website. Please do not include such information in forms or messages.
4. Why We Use Your Information and the Basis for It
We use your personal information only for specific, stated purposes:
- To respond to you: answering enquiries, volunteer applications and partnership requests.
- To process donations: confirming payments, issuing acknowledgements and 80G receipts, and resolving payment queries.
- To meet legal and regulatory duties: keeping financial and tax records, preparing audits and utilisation reports, and complying with income-tax, society and other laws.
- To manage volunteers: reviewing applications, assigning roles, communicating schedules and safeguarding beneficiaries.
- To keep you informed: sending updates, impact reports and campaign news, only where you have chosen to receive them.
- To improve the Website and our programmes: analysing usage and feedback.
- To protect the Website and our community: preventing fraud, misuse and security threats.
Consent. Where we rely on your consent, such as for sending updates or non-essential cookies, we ask for it clearly and you can withdraw it at any time. For some purposes, such as keeping tax records, we process data because the law requires us to or because it is necessary to carry out the activity you have asked for.
We will not use your information for any new, unrelated purpose without telling you and, where required, asking for your consent.

- Payment Partners (Razorpay, Donorbox, PayPal or others we may use) to process your donation.

- Auditors, advisers and professionals such as our chartered accountants and legal advisers, where needed for audits, compliance and legal advice.
- Government and legal authorities, such as tax authorities, where we are required by law, court order or a lawful request.
- Programme partners and CSR partners, in aggregate or anonymised form for impact reporting. We do not share individual donor details without your permission.
- A successor organisation, if our activities are ever transferred under law, who would be bound by this Policy.
6. Donor Information and Public Recognition
We do not publish your name, photograph or donation amount without your consent. If we wish to thank or acknowledge donors publicly, we will ask you first, and you may choose to remain anonymous.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and as long as the law requires.

When information is no longer needed, we securely delete it or anonymise it. Where required, we will inform you before erasing certain data.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
10. Children's Privacy
This Website is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. If you are under 18, please do not submit your personal information or make a donation without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
If we learn that we have collected a child's information without the required parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe this has happened, please contact us.
Beneficiaries. Children and adults who take part in our programmes are covered by our programme-level safeguarding and consent practices. We take care to protect their identity, and any photographs or stories are used only with appropriate consent and with respect for their dignity.

You have the following rights over your personal data:
- Access: to ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correction and updating: to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure: to ask us to delete your personal data, except where we are required by law to keep it, such as donation and tax records.
- Withdraw consent: to withdraw your consent at any time, for example to stop receiving updates. Withdrawal does not affect processing done before you withdrew.
- Grievance redressal: to raise a complaint with us about how your data is handled, and to get a response.
- Nominate another person: to nominate someone to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity, as permitted by law.
How to Use Your Rights
Write to Hello@aspiranteducation.org with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us what you want. So that we can protect your data from misuse, we may ask you to verify your identity. We will acknowledge your request within [48 hours] and respond within [30 days], or earlier if the law requires.
Stopping Updates
Every update email will include an unsubscribe link. You can also write to us at any time to stop receiving messages by email, SMS, phone or WhatsApp. We will still contact you where needed about your donation, receipt or a legal requirement.
